Cavalry horses

Both are focussed & tense, staring at the next fence in front of them. They are judging its height and level of difficulty. With their expert gaze they recall the layout & parameters of the ground. Slowly the rider loosens his grip on the reins. The ears of the horse are cocked to listen. The jockey presses his knees on the flanks of the horse & it starts to gallop with controlled & measured strides straight ahead at the jump. The rider & horse become one as the animal is airborne.
